1. Agreement
By accessing BanksOnSale.com, you agree to these Terms and the linked Privacy, No-Refund and Risk Disclosure policies. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
2. Research service
BanksOnSale provides educational research tools based primarily on public information. It does not provide investment, brokerage, valuation, fairness-opinion, legal, tax, accounting or regulatory-advisory services. You remain responsible for independent diligence and professional advice.
3. Accounts
Keep control of the account used to sign in. You may not share restricted access, circumvent feature controls, scrape the service at scale, interfere with its operation or use it unlawfully. We may suspend access for abuse or security risk.
4. Paid access and trials
Explorer access is free. New customers may start one seven-day Professional trial after adding a payment card through Dodo Payments. The trial begins when the subscription activates, not when the account is created. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the selected plan automatically charges $99 per month or $990 per year, plus applicable tax, and renews at that interval until cancelled. The first billing date is shown in Account. Cancel there before that date to avoid the first charge. Dodo Payments provides secure checkout and acts as merchant of record. A separate, privately granted research pass requires no card and never starts automatic billing. Its expiry is shown in Account.
5. Final payments and no refunds
All completed subscription payments, renewals and upgrade charges are final and non-refundable. Cancellation does not reverse a payment already made, and no partial or prorated refunds or unused-time credits are provided. This rule applies to the fullest extent permitted by law; mandatory consumer-law, card-network and merchant-of-record requirements remain controlling.
6. Data and models
Public filings can be incomplete, revised or delayed. Scores, acquisition multiples, forecasts and simulated returns depend on assumptions and may differ materially from actual outcomes. We may correct data, methodology and software without preserving prior results.
7. Intellectual property
BanksOnSale owns the service design, software, scoring methodology, commentary and compilations, subject to third-party rights in source data. Access grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service internally.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted access, completeness, accuracy or fitness for a particular transaction. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BanksOnSale is not liable for indirect, consequential, special or trading losses arising from use of the service.
